Market History Report

Why do I need to understand the Market History Report?

The long term success of a premium finance case is built on the expectation of policy credits related to various market indexes such as the S&P 500®.  The best way to predict future policy credits is to analyze historical returns.

Policies often contain multiple allocation options for diversification of credit potential, and most have an S&P 500 Index with a Cap and a Floor.  Instead of investing directly in the market, this Cap and Floor strategy builds interest credits based on how an index performs in a certain period.  An index Cap sets an upper limit on the growth a policy can experience and a Floor protects against negative markets.
